WWE Extreme Rules

Pretty damn amped for tonight. I'm taking my dad, it's his first wrestling show, and he is NOT ready. It's a great card with a couple rematches from Mania and of course Brock Lesnar returns. I'm a huge Lesnar fan so i'm very excited for this, it should be a great show :)

Talk about interesting. This could be huge. There was more buzz about WrestleMania of course, but Brock Vs. Cena is exactly what WWE needs right now. I am not entirely sure how they'll book this, since Cena has lost so much this month, and you can't job Lesnar out on his first match back. I think Brock wins via cheatery. Crowd heat should be nuclear. (for all the matches)

I might me most psyched for the WHC match, true story. I can't wait to see how Chicago supports Daniel Bryan. If he wins the title, that'd be perfect. The last two PPVS i've attended (Night Of Champions '10, Money In The Bank '11) Bryan had big wins. Hopefully the trend continues. 

And then there's Punk V. Jericho. Simply two of the best performers, and i'm a huge fan of both of these guys, and have been for years. This match is going to deliver no matter what, and Punk being the hometown hero is only going to give it more juice. This is going to be a treat.

I spent so much money this week. It was so much fun though. I MET TOM FRIGGIN' MORELLO! Superfuckingcool.

This weekend is UFC and next weekend i'm going to WWE Extreme Rules at the Allstate Arena with my Dad. It's going to be quite an entertaining month.

Avengers Vs. X-Men kicked off this week...

Good first issue. I'm intrigued. However, there's no way this event goes down without MASSIVE casualties on both sides. Hopefully Marvel doesn't screw the pooch on this one....still, i digress, it SHOULD be fun.

It's only a comic written by five dudes and drawn be three..what could go wrong? I admire there willingness to experiment. However, these big events need a singular voice to work. Five writers is NOT a singular voice. I hope they can pull it off.

WrestleMania XXVIII

Really good show. The main events really delivered. Like most everyone else, I thought Daniel Bryan got royally screwed. The world title "match" was indeed hot garbage, as many on twitter were saying. The rest of the show was good, however, i'll have to re-watch and review before I make any claims about its standing as a great mania. It's probably the best one in about five years, in my initial estimate. Punk vs. Jericho was awesome. HHH vs. taker was epic, HBK, JR, and the cell added so much to the match. Cena/Rock was really good too.

Too bad Cody lost. At LEAST the IC title was defended though.

WRESTLEMANIA BABY

Should be a great show. There hasn't been a truly great WrestleMania in 8 or so years....hopefully we see some magic tonight, and if Brock Lesnar returns, shits gonna get crazy. I'm planning on doing my first podcast on this event. Oh yeah.
